BeforeIBite has two plans, and every feature is available in both. The only difference is whether you see ads.
- Free — the full app, supported by a third-party advertisement shown during meal photo analysis and nutrition label scanning.
- Pro — an auto-renewable subscription that removes all ads, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan.
What's included (in both plans)
- AI photo meal analysis
- Barcode scanning
- Nutrition label scanning (OCR)
- Free-text food lookup, plus Quick Add (speak, type, or pick a favorite)
- Family-style sharing — split any shared dish across multiple people
- Portion adjustment after logging
- Daily calorie, macro, and micronutrient targets
- iCloud sync across your Apple devices
- Apple Health integration — read body stats, write meals back as dietary energy
What Pro adds
- No ads. Pro removes the banner advertisement shown during meal photo analysis and nutrition label scanning. That's the only difference — Pro does not unlock any meal-logging or analysis features that aren't already in the free plan.

Pro plans and pricing
Pro is available as a monthly or annual plan. Pricing is shown in the App Store before you subscribe.
Free trial
The annual Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible Apple Accounts. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time during the 7 days. The monthly plan does not include a free trial. See How your free trial works for the details.
Auto-renewal terms
Apple requires us to make these terms explicit before you subscribe to Pro:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: your Pro subscription automatically renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal charges are billed to your Apple ID within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the same plan price.
- Manage or cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → BeforeIBite. See Manage your subscription for full steps.
- If you cancel Pro, you keep using the app — you simply drop back to the free, ad-supported experience. Nothing is locked, and your meals and data stay put.
