How your free trial works

When you're charged, how to cancel before that happens, and what happens if you cancel during or after the trial.

Updated May 21, 2026

BeforeIBite gives new subscribers a 7-day free trial. This article walks through exactly when you're charged, how to cancel before that, and what happens to your access if you cancel.

How long the trial lasts

7 days from the moment you start it. The end time matches the start time — if you started at 3:42 PM on Monday, the trial ends at 3:42 PM the following Monday.

When you're charged

You're charged at the end of the 7-day trial unless you cancel first. Apple bills the price of your chosen plan — monthly or annual — to your Apple ID within 24 hours before the trial ends. You'll see the charge in your Apple invoice email at that point.

How to cancel before being charged

Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → BeforeIBite → Cancel Subscription on your iPhone. You can do this any time during the 7 days. As long as you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged.

See Manage your subscription for the full step-by-step.

What happens if you cancel during the trial

You can keep using BeforeIBite until the end of the 7 days. After that, your subscription stops and BeforeIBite locks features behind the paywall. Your meal logs and profile stay on your device — nothing is deleted just because you cancelled. You can resubscribe any time.

What happens if the trial ends without cancelling

Your subscription becomes active and you're charged your plan price. From then on, the subscription auto-renews each period — monthly or annual — until you cancel. See BeforeIBite pricing for the auto-renewal terms.

One free trial per Apple ID

Apple grants one free trial per Apple ID per app, for the lifetime of the app. If you've already used a BeforeIBite trial in the past, resubscribing means an immediate charge — not a fresh 7 days.
